Dover Shockwave Robotics
A high school robotics team that designs, builds and competes year-round, with the help of our mentors and sponsors.

Mission
The mission of Dover Shockwave Robotics is to inspire high school students in the Dover School District to pursue Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) through year-round participation in the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) — one of the world’s most demanding and respected high school engineering competitions.
Our program started in 2013 and has been year-round since 2016. We operate an engineering apprenticeship program out of Dover High School, open to all interested students in the Dover School District, regardless of prior technical experience.
Our students gain practical engineering experience, build real confidence, and learn what every working engineer eventually learns — that failure is part of the work. They try, they fail, they figure out what went wrong, and they move forward. That habit of mind is what we send with them into college and into careers.
